Industries we work in, and how we help them succeed.
Kimberley, Western Australia
MW Civil developed and implemented a value-engineered dewatering strategy and maintained continuous 24-hour water management to stabilise each work area. All FRP works were delivered in-house to retain control of quality and sequencing throughout construction. To address remote location constraints, MW Civil mobilised an on-site batching plant to produce 50MPa sulphate-resistant concrete, ensuring a consistent supply and supporting deliveries.
Engineering collaboration was central to advancing the works, with MW Civil and the client working closely to address unforeseen ground conditions and to implement design updates. Installation of BAMO Measures Type IV Venturi channels was completed to the required tolerance of ±1 mm. All hydraulic surfaces were treated with waterproof epoxy coatings to ensure long-term durability.
The project was delivered safely, on schedule and within budget despite the environmental and logistical challenges, demonstrating MW Civil’s ability to execute technically demanding civil works in remote conditions while maintaining quality, safety and environmental performance.
